Put your culinary chops to the test in our Belly Bustin' Burger (B3) recipe contest! The sky is the limit: just dream up the tastiest burger *stuffed* with your favorite cheeses, veggies, meats, spices, sauces, etc., and send your submission to dining@umw.edu. Entries will be accepted through Sunday, February 26 and the winning recipe will be announced prior to Spring Break.
The winning recipe will be selected by the Dining Student Board of Directors and featured at Late Lunch in the Washington Diner! The student with the winning B3 burger recipe will name their creation and have the opportunity to serve it during Late Lunch upon our return from Spring Break!

Chef's Fare Wednesday, February 22; 5-7pm; Seacobeck Hall Cheer on our Executive Chef David Schneider as he battles with chefs from Emory & Henry College, Virginia Wesleyan College, Stevenson University and Loyola University.
Chefs will be preparing dishes inspired by films like Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Hangover, The Help, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The chef with the best dish will be determined by you! Compare cuisines and cast your vote for the winning chef!

About Chef Torsti:
Chef Torsti finished culinary school in 1988 and became a chef in 1996. Before joining Sodexo in 2002, he had the opportunity to work for International Hotel Chains in Helsinki.
When he started with Sodexo, Chef Torsti started in a small lunch restaurant; he now serves 1500 lunches a day at Nokia headquarters in Espoo, Finland. In 2011, Chef Torsti received the Finnish PRO award for which he was nominated by his colleagues.
